Best season

In the north, the cool period runs from mid-October to February; December and January are the coolest months. Hot summer follows from mid-February to mid-May (April is the hottest month), then the rains from mid-May to mid-October (Thai government official portal).

Getting there

Pai is reached from Chiang Mai. Check road links from your starting point and ask the camp for its exact address.

Where to stay

  • Ask the camp whether it offers rooms or partner addresses.
  • We publish no room prices: ask the camp or the host.

Training without breaking the bank

  • Ask the camp for its per-session, weekly and monthly rates: we recorded none.
  • Compare with the camps in Chiang Mai, the big neighbouring city.

What to do nearby

  • The mountain scenery around the town.
  • A detour to Chiang Mai, its temples and markets.
