Why train here

  • A camp on the Gulf of Thailand, to combine with a few days of rest.
  • A calmer alternative to the big training destinations.
  • A place where the camp answers questions about its programme directly: everything is confirmed in writing.

Best season

According to the Thai government’s official portal, the year has three seasons: summer, from mid-February to mid-May (April is the hottest month); the rains, from mid-May to mid-October (August and September are the wettest); and winter, cooler and dry, from mid-October to mid-February.

Getting there

Hua Hin can be reached from Bangkok; ask the camp for the best way to make the trip and its exact address.

Where to stay

  • Ask the camp whether it offers lodging or partner addresses.
  • Or pick a hotel near the sea, then allow for the trip to the camp.
  • We publish no room prices: ask the camp or the hotel.

Training without breaking the bank

  • Ask the camp for its per-session, weekly and monthly rates: we recorded none.
  • Compare with Pattaya, where Fairtex publishes a detailed price list.

What to do nearby

  • The beach and the seafront.
  • The town’s restaurants for a light meal after training.
